Im having problems booting Dragon Quest 8 with my swap magic cd ( cant use the dvd loader),any help with a BIG game, i have ff 10 but i dont think is big enough

WOW people still using TOC methods....

Devil May cry is pretty monsterous and cheap too. its like 20$ new. I booted hella games with it including bigguns like Chaos Legion and GTA VC.

If you use Swap Magic you dont worry about TOCs. I have about 150 games now.... not one needs TOC refresh from Swap Magic.... not sure what the TOC size is on SM but I know that ive never had to refresh anything.

Devil May Cry = 4.37GB (max single layer TOC is 4.37GB!).

I believe I read something the other day that said Swap Magic' TOC is 4.17 gigs. Or 4.27. I know the list of TOC's had probably about ten games with a higher TOC listed above it. Can't for the life of me remember where I read it though.

I booted Chaos Legion with swap magic... its bigger than Devil May Cry.

not sure on exact sizes of what, but I believe TOC size rule is only relative... not exact science with concrete numbers.

Yeah 4.37GB is not going to be exactly 4,37X,XXX,XXX everytime. It seems like it's a rounded number to some extent.

Hey jevo25, have you used ZoneLoader? You don't need to do a TOC refresh with that. In fact, I'm going to make a backup of DCVIII/FFXII and see how it works with my specs, I'll edit back wtih results.
