I'm using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink 3.2. I've done you suggested tweaking of them both and tried to burn Napolean Dynamite and got this message as DVD Decrypter started to write it -

I/O Error
Device:[0:0:0] TEAC DVD+RW bv-W58E D.OC (D) (ATA)
SCSI STATUS: 0X02
Interpretation:check condition
DCB:2A00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
Interpretation: Write (10)-sectors:0-31
Sense Area: F0 00 03 00 02 a4 80 0a 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00
Interetation: No seek complete

And that was it. When I burned a different movie earlier it burned fine, but behind the DVD Decrypter screen was this same error message. But it still burned perfectly.

Although I am not Scuba Pete, I can offer my advice. I was able to perfectly burn that same dvd with using DVD Shrink and CloneDVD as my only 2 programs with absolutely no errors and everything included from one dvd to the next.

I just let DVD Shrink analysis and shrink the dvd, and then used CloneDVD to write the disk.

I made a working backup of this movie using DVD Shrink and Nero. It worked fine.

Thanks for you help. I'm still curious what this error means. It comes up every once in a while and I'd like to know how to fix it.
