Finally, i just finished Fall Of Reach, only two days. Im gunna move on to The Flood tomorrow cos if i start now i wont be able to stop. So did Linda survive because I thought Dr. Hasley took one of the Spartans?

In the third book entitled "Halo:First Strike" The remaining spartan survivor reunite on planet Reach and soon reunite with Dr.Halsey again. Master Chief then returns to Reach after Halos destruction and joins the rest of the spartans along with Linda who was in a cryo tube but was clinicaly dead. Master Chief reunites with Dr.Halsey who then was able to revive Linda. After a while the spartans find out that the covenant were actualy looking for something on Reach some kind of forrernner artifact similar to the one found on Cote d Azur. Dr.Halsey and the spartans are then able to get this artifact before the covenant. They imediately leave Reach in a UNSC ship that was connected to a recently hijacked covenant ship. The crystal artifact is then destroyed and shards and pieces of the artifact fly out of the ship. The Master Chief then comes up with a plan to do a first strike against a covenant fleet that had discovered Earths location. Before operation "first striked" began Dr.Halsey knock out the spartan named Kelly and left in a separate ship on a top secret mission. In the end the brute named Tartarus manages to recover one of the pieces of the crystal artifact and gives it to the prophet of Truth. After completing the mission "first strike" and successfuly manage to destroy 500 covenant ships the spartans return to Earth where Halo 2 begins to kick in.
25 spartans died trying to defend Reach and only 5 survived and they are John, Fred, Linda, Kelly, and Will.

Halo 3 price tag is set to cost 59.99 *begins to swear at the game companies* (Damn, looks like the price tag on the games for the next gen console is more expensive. Isnt 49.99 enough for a game?)

I cant see bungie releasing halo 3 next year. It took them 3 years to make halo 2, and halo 3 is gonna be on a whole new system.

I just checked out the xbox 360 games and all of them cost $59.99. As for Halo 3 Bill Gates said it himself that once the Ps3 comes out it would run right into Halo 3 and I just checked the game out and its defenately set for June 1, 2006 which is exactly one year away. And as you remember Halo 2 was pushed back a year not just because they were modifying it but because MS was waiting for the right time to strike Sony. Halo 2 was released almost the same time that the slim Ps2 was released to see which would sell the most. Obiously Halo 2 out sold the Ps2 and Xbox consoles flew off the shelves. Microsoft is planning on doing the same thing when Ps3 comes out. You guys can check it out at www.gamespot.com.
(Man I cant believe that games are now going to cost 59.99)
I hope Halo 3 ends the series because I really dont want to stick around for Halo 27. Even though no game cover has been chosen for Halo 3 yet you can still check it out at gamestop because theyve already started taking pre-orders.

hey guys i hav i theory on how the halo's fire. first u guys remember those big tower things that u c on the second lvl of halo the ones that shoot out the big balls of plasma well i think that there are alot of them situated around the ring all of them continously firing out into space well i think that wen the index is put into the system it makes them fire in a specific order like a index puts books in a libary into a system u get my meaning. well wen they are all cordinated into a firing sequence they all gather in the middle and it charges halo to prepare for firing. i got this idea wen i saw the last scene from halo 2 wen u c halo charging to fire it looks like its gathering energy from around it but i think its the plasma balls from the surface

That wasnt the halo firing it was light sending out a becon but nice theory.I never really tought what index could mean and didnt really connect it to the library, im not good with hidden meanings.
Hmmm halo 27, i think all humans will be dead before they get that far lol.
59.99!!! Thats like over $100.00 australian, That one third of what i paid for my xbox!

The map pack was originally suppost to come out on June 28 but i think it got pushed back a little bit for some touch ups becuase i don't think they want people to get out of these. i can already get on top or Containment. Im sure a lot of other people can also. i bet they are just making sure they get everything right. i think it got pushed back to july 2nd but this website says its still comeing out june 28th http://www.the-junkyard.net/index.php?action=linknews&id=1771 so who really knows

I got Halo 2 a couple of days after it's realease and didn't have any problems, and I didn't preorder.

hey guys i hav a question you how that dude up the top said (sorry no offense but i forgot ur name) how they led an ambush that destroyed 500 covenant ships i was just wonderin how many convenant ships are there and how many were actually sent to earth the second time cause at the end you see truth leavin on the forunner ship and theres covenant ships fighting all around them
oh yeah and about the foundation lvl i got it just bye playing the last lvl on easy and all i did was a s****load of barrel rolls and backflips i think i might hav got another secret lvl aswell by i dont no i forget wat its called but your in a place like chicargo or somthin and theres streets every where and an ocean to your left i dont no if it was a secret lvl cause i dont play multiplayer much??

First of all, please take the time to use good spelling, that was kind of hard to read. The second time the covanent attack earth at the end of Halo 2 I think they send all of their Loyalist ships (meaning the ships controlled by Brutes). I really don't know the exact number but it's all they have so it must be a alot cause it's all they got.
Ok I thought that the MC went straight back to earth after Halo 1's destruction, thats what the game leads you to believe, but one of those Halo books says that he makes a pit stop at reach to see some of his old buddies. The game says that the MC is the last spartan and he is "earths last hope". If reach was destroyed then how did those others spartans survive? And why are they not being used to defend earth, they're just chillin' of some blown to sh*t planet somwhere. Why did'nt the MC take them back to earth at the begginng of Halo 2 for some help? What I'm getting at is that both Halo games were based the fact that the MC was the last spartan, I think that the Halo books are a load of crap. I don't think they have really anything to do with the real Halo styoryline, I think that "Halo: the first strike" was just made up by some bored writer that liked Halo and decided he would add his own twist to it.

You are entirelly incorect, if you read the Halo 2 booklet all the books are a part of the Halo story. The Halo book "Halo:First Strike" takes place inbetween Halo 1 and Halo 2. Not all of planet Reach was destroyed because the covenant were looking for a forrunner artifact so a portion of Reach was left unharmed. As you know all the spartans are like family so after Halo was destroyed he went back to Reach to see if his fellow spartans survived. And Master Chief then finds Sgt.Johnson and a couple other marines who managed to escape Halo using a peligan. Johnson survived the flood because of a syndrome he has called berons syndrome. Because of this syndrome Johnson couldnt be infected by the flood.
So yes if you read the book youll see for your self it has everything to do with Halo and leads to the events of Halo 2.

I'm sorry if I sounded like a know it all back there.
Ok you answered some of my questions but I still don't know why the other spartans didn't come help the MC in Halo 2. I mean if they helped him kill 500 covenat ships then why didn't they go with him to earth to fight. And why havent the games said anything about the ses other spartans, I thought the whole point to Halo was that the MC was the last surviving spartan and Humans last hope.
