Ahh, this is what im gunna hate. I cant buy xbox 360 right away but im sure some of you guys will and your all going to be talking about halo 3 and i wont know what the hell's going on. Oh well ill get it sooner or later.

Actually as soon as xbox360 get below AU$400 im buying it, hopefully it wont take as long to go down in price as the first xbox did.

yea you know what sucks and is really off topic, my sisters car blew up. yea it literally was on fire then i blew up.
in halo 3 it would be cool to drive the cars that are in the city like a fast car, that would be cool.

Well that sucks. but at least your sister wasn't in it(I hope) but yeah i was thinking that it would be cool to drive random cars in the city

I think a true halo fanboy would wait to buy the 360 until the release of halo 3. since halo will be released when ps3 is released, you know m$ is going to drop the price of the 360 and offer bundle packages with halo 3. you can count on that happening.

Man I am so pissed off today because I just had my PSP stolen in school (remind me never to take a PSP to school again).
But anyway life goes on and the one question that all of us would like to know is why werent the other spartans in Halo 2? I may be good at answering questions but this is something I dont even know. Bungie really screwed up by not putting the other spartans in the game but hopefuly theyll add them in to the third and if they dont then I really have to have a word with them.
So yeah does any one have a good excuse for me to use on my parents about what happened with my PSP because I really dont want to tell them the truth.(I am so dead when they find out) *begins to pray*

damn, T4Spartan that sucks. Tell them you were walking down the street and it slipped out of your pocket or something. Probably wont work...Anyway, hansmerva, Johnson got off of Halo because he couldnt be consumed by the flood for some reason. Its in the third Halo book First Strike, I just havent gotten around to reading it.

It is possible that bungie is holding out on the other spartans, maybe they will reveal them in Halo 3. I don't think thats true I think that there are no other spartans and they are a bunch of BS made up in those Halo books. I mean the whole point of Halo is that the MC is humans last hope, I don't think they are going to change the story that much.

The books werent a load of crap, the bungie team was advising the writers and he gave them the coveted HALO BIBLE so most of the stuff is right out of bungies halo history.
Anyway sorry about your sisters car Sublique and your psp t4. Remember after bad luck comes a whole lot of good luck.

I thought the books where pretty good...I even did a book report for school on The Fall Of Reach... Got good marks though!!!

True, the video game is missing some important details from the book... But the book is not known as BS... IF you like Halo alot like me and you read the books you really get into it! DAKHAlO, you are completly wrong.. it is not BS... I'm very dissapointed in you!

maybe bungie didnt want to put the other spartans in halo 2 cause not everyone has read the books. also maybe the other spartans decided to stay on reach and help salvage wat they could while mc was called back to earth for the debreifing and stuff

hansmerva & mkaseatgb, Johnsn got off of Halo in a Pelican along with like four other people and then MC and cortana picked them up in a longsword. the come across linda in a cryopod, and other stuff that im not gona get into and they eventually get to earth. The reason why Jhonson ws not infcted was due to the fact on one of his missions he stumbled across a tone o plasma grenades and used all of them. due to the continuous use of these he developed a type of radiation sickness know as boreans syndrome. Due to this cell mutation the infector forms were not able to rewrite his dna.
Darkhalo, the whole point ofthe story isnt on just MC, its based on the suvival of the human race. Its true MC is told that he is the last of his kind in halo 1 butin halo 2 it really doesnt say aything that he is the last one. Halodude 3, i dont think they stayed on reach becaues with what the admiral says in the fist mission "I dont understand, the fleet that destroyed reach was 50 times this size." We can probbly assume that they fled along with mastrchief, but are busy on another part o the planet.

Plus he doesn't know that any of the other spartans survived untill he gets off halo becuase he was in cryosleep. nobody on the pillar of autumm knew that any spartans survived untill they got to lonsword. So technically he WAS the last chance the humans had. In the end of the first book Fall of Reach we assume they are all dead and so does master cheif and everybody else that is in space.

Please dont make us explain everything to you now!
If you read all thae Halo books you should know that after Halo was destroyed Master Chief (John) returned to reach ans discovered that a couple of spartans survived. 25 spartans died but 5 remained alive and they were John, Linda, Fred, Will, and kelly. Everyone assumed they were all dead but some of them werent.
There are only 5 spartans left alive.Read the Halo books for yourself.

Ok this thread is really long so i didnt get to read all of it but i think that the first Halo was better than Halo2. I cant wait until Halo 3.
