Hey, has anyone took to notice that in the Halo 2 instruction manual at the beginning that it says that Master Chief is 7 feet tall and in his armour weighs half a ton? (1,000 P0UNDS?!!?!?!?)

Yes his armour does weigh half a ton. lol a lot of weight but its helpful against the covies..

oh,I almost forgot.I know almost nothing about the xbox2 but i know alot about the halos.For what my friend says there will be a halo 4.He knows nothing about it but he know it will be coming out arond 2007/2008

Hey I've got a question about Halo 3!
In Halo 2 the master chief ends up allied with a covenant elite known by fans of Halo 2 as the 'Arbiter' right? So does this mean that in Halo 3 Humans and Covenant Elites will work together against new enemies in an attempt to destroy the 'Ark' (of the covenant)?
By the way i heard a while back you guys discussing whether the 'Ark' was a covenant ship or Earth well if the plotline of Halo and Halo 2 were set against religious backgrounds then perhaps if you've watched Indianna Jones and the Lost Ark you would know that the Ark is fully titled 'Ark of the Covenant' which, in the film was a box containing the 'Ultimate' 'Weapon' of God. Although this still doesn't answer the question of Earth or Ship let me point out that the ship shown at the end of Halo 2 was being piloted by our beloved master chief and was a fore-runner ship. However another point to consider is: If the main fore-runner activator is Earth or on Earth then why hasn't it been discovered by thermal imaging and sat photos?

to answer your first question yes and no.the elites and mc,military are working together to destroy the flood,but in the end elites still hate earthlings and mc.Ohh the ark,interesting question i do say myself but when you related it to indiana jones is the weird part.the ark in IJ has nothing to do with halo in any way except for the fact that the both are weapons.
The ark is located at the exact middle of where all the halos are.The ark is not a weapon itself but it activates all halos in the universe.Think of it as a big icon(the "T" looking thing that activates halo).

Also they are not attempting to destroy the ark there trying to beat truth and the brutes there.If truth and the escorts(brutes)get there first they will activate it and destroy all life in the universe.But if MC gets there with arbiter they will stop it.But sumthing has deleyed them.The flood on earth.To answer a question you didnt ask,gravemind is a flood himself but not evil.He did create the flood but not for a evil purpose.The flood went "Hungry" and started eating any living thing.The creater of gravemind is unknown.But what i do know is that the flood is a species that has been around before humans,covanent,brutes,etc.

I've been pondering this for years and I can't think of a better game to do it on than Halo, this is updating existing games. Does anyone remember the expansion packs for Sonic the hedgehog on the Mega Drive? Basically you would plug the the original game into the top of a mod cartridge and you could then play the original game, but with differences ie another character. Can you imagine playing Halo 1, 2, and 3, all with the same graphics engine, models and sounds? How cool would that be?!?! The engine and associated material could be packaged with the latest game (dare I say there would be a Halo 4, this would upgrade 3!) all this material could be be stored on the HDD (please let XB2 have an HDD!), then inserting the original game disc, you could play using different graphics and models. The possibilities are endless.
Would this necessarily be too difficult to do? Everything element of the game is loaded from a file, telling the XB to load a different (modified) file shouldn't be too difficult, no?
Just coz it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it won't

hey i just talked to my friend and asked him if i can ask anything about halo 3 that wouldnt fire you. he said no. but he did tell me the the ark for sure is on halo 2 and he showed me. on the level in halo 2 where u go inside the scarab, and brake it, they show a movie about the alien ship leaving and its destroying all that part and if u notice u c a biulding that looks like the forrunner ship. he says u go bak to earth and i think he said that going to be one of the lasts level of halo 3. but guys plzz dont believe me fully because my friend does lie somtimes about this stuff, but when i saw the video it looked like he was for real. o ya p.s. srry arbitor u really do kno sum stuff about halo 3 my bad for callen u stuff, its just that i dont like liers peace out

On the level gravemind on the opening cutsence with grave mind speaking, towards the middle of the cutsence the prophet of regret is wound up in one of graveminds tentacles. Why is this? And a red oracle pops out of nowhere is this gs343 in a mood swing or does each halo (7 in all cut sence last level after killing tartarus) have its own oracle an is there a central leader? this might lead to the forerunner still being alive or running. And what is the forerunner exactly. In halo 1 gs343 continues to refer to master chief as if he was there more than once. I also think that gs343 is part of the forerunner race the sentinals seem to obey him. Any insites please.
P.S. This may be off topic but the idea kept nagging me just don't ban me.

sorry about this but on the last level gs343 is talking about a central activating point for all the halos the arbitor elite asks gs 343 were this is. Before he answers the actions shifts to masterchief on the big covenant ship HEADING TORWARDS EARTH cowencidence i think not arbiter37 this blows a big hole in your theory abot the giant"T" no offense do you own h1+2 because that wasn't that hard to figure out arbiter37.

If you all are so naive that you haven't figured this out yet, there are acutally books in Halo and John aka Spartan 117. I have only seen 5 of them but i know the 3rd or 4th one is the plot of Halo 2. The games are based on the even number of books so far. Personally the 1st one is the best but they do give you a basic concept on how the games will unfold. For all this "ark" stuff relating to to "arc of the covenant" and how the ark saved Noah from the FLOOD seems a bit alike doesnt it. I truly have no idea of what happens in the 3rd or 4th book cuz i could barely finish the 2nd one with the amount of time i have, but i bet one of you guys can read them. The authors change once in a while. But the 1st and 3rd ones are written by Eric Nylund. For all of you asking about Spartan 117's armor it is rather funny to read. Every action he takes basically 10 times the power of what hes doing ( in a sense). Basically, all his actions are ALOT more powerful with alot less power to do them. MJOLNR ( i frgot the exact spelling, tried to find it agian in the book) is very interesting in fact the whole set of books are. SO read them they are very good and rich with info.

Also, (sry i was readin the long ass post in the beginning) Are you saying that Halo 3 is going to be a combat strategy game (having Cortana be a Stategist; getting battle points and moving troops and batallions) yet, having it be an all out war game such as BFV or something? I also see your point about fps to rts, they have that on Ghost Recon 2 as well if yall didnt no. But please straighten me out with how they can blend in strategy and all out war so well..???

i was just reading my post and i was just thinking wata dumbass i am. i said its gonna be in the lasts level by accident, i really meant to say its gonna be the 2nd level. i asked my friend about the e3 halo2 video, because in the beginning if u notice yr getting off sum kind of alien ship ( could be the forrunner ship) and i think when yr in the 4runner ship i think u battle first and kill sum brutes and then the profit of truth leaves to go sumwhere else in earth (or proboly the moon) and then u land the ship and get out and start fighting ( only brutes and jakles if u notice) and at the end when the elites cum u dont fight them, because mc doesnt really kno about the peace thing yet. NOTE THESE ARE MY THERIES BECAUSE OF WHAT MY FRIEND TOLD ME> NOT ACTUALL INFORMATION
