No that in Graveminds hand was another ring oracle named 2401 penitent tangit. These are not actually named oracles i have forgoten the actually name. Yes each ring has different oracles. I think the prophet of regret was with the gravemind because gravmind rescued him like he did master cheif. And your guess is as good as mine y 343 and 2401 calls MC reclaimer.

The "Oracles" are actually known by everyone else as "Monitors"
(343 Guilty spark actually refers to himself as a monitor)

someone didn't know wht teh oricle was O.M.F.G it is soo obvious that the oricle is THE MONITOR becuase in halo 1 you hear the eletes once or twice talking about finding the "oricle" (monitor) (and yes the eletes did talk oncv eor twice in the origional halo)

The eliets didnt speak human english in Halo 1 they spoke that weird language so how could u understand it?

hmmm...I don't remember the elites speaking anything but jibberish either. MAN! Now I'm gonna have to go back through Halo 1. At least give me a hint as to where you think the elites mention the oracle. LOL

The Fall of Reach, By Eric Nylund (Pre Halo 1)
The Flood, By William C. Dietz (about Halo 1)

Ok, thanks. But in "Fall of Reach" i read the first chapter from a page off the net and some of the characters were different like Cortana was a male called toran. Is the first strike like that too

i think that if they were to make a RTS game for halo, they should not include MC and the arbiter, i think it would kinda ruin the story line a bit for the current halo 1/2. it would b cool to use units such as MC but i dont think it will have the same effect as a fps, in the current halo you actully play as MC and the arbiter where as in a RTS if u used them it would b just like useing another unit, but if they made a RTS without them then it would b well gud. i think if they did then they should do a layout of the screen such as C&C where you dont command builder units, they always seem to die realy fast and then u cant build defence without buildin more builders. also, it woul b cool if they mixed this style with a metal fatigue style with a ground layer as well as a orbit layer so you can realy use all aspects of units from motherships and cruisers to grunts and elites. i also think it should not be just a case of the structure appearing from nowhere like in C&C, such as if a phontom brought down a gun turret from orbit to place would look much beter compared to just using a builder or the structure just appearin from nowhere, also, that way even if your under attack, just by buildin structures, the phantoms would help you a bit, i always think that it is realy sad when ur base has been invaded and you cant fight back or anythin, all u can do is watch, u cant even build troops in time to defend. Oh, and also 1 more thing, isnt it possible that you have a translater or somthing, or mayb the creaters just wanted u to understand the story line, i think that if the eleites spoke in there language every time there was a cut sceen then the game would be so confusing, i mean like what do u expect (all of u that complain about the language), unless ur a g**k and hav the elite dictionary, u wouldnt understand the game other wise, i hav much more to say but i think all of u r so bored by now that u want me to stop so i will.

I was reading some posts about people not liking the ending and others wondering if the level we saw in the E3 demo would be included in Halo 3 and got thinking: Its possible. Not probable, but possible. At the end of Halo 2, when the Master Cheif is in the giant arch ship, and the commander guy says "Chief, what are you doing on that ship?!", then the Chief says "Sir, finishing this fight...", I could easily imagine you landing on Earth playing a level very similar to that. It would be cool if the intro video had the MC jumping out of this ship as it stikes a covanent cruizer... damn yeah. Then a ship could come and grab him somehow, like with a device similar to the Brutes hammer :P . Then the ship goes into a larger ship such as Amber Clad, then you get close to Earth, hop in a pelican, and the E3 demo tells the rest ;)
Remember, this is just my opinion, you can critisize it if you want, I won't be hurt.
EDIT: I guess the arch ship is the device that activates the rings, so we cant hurt that... maybe our job will to play a little keep-away with the covanent.

could i have uncovered a shred of evidence that there will be a Halo 3? listen to Sgt. Johnson's funny outtake. he says "...Halo 4 i get a woman. i've been guaranteed..."
could this have been david scully's slip of the tongue leaking info that he's already done work in Halo 3? if there was no halo 3, he would have said "...Halo 3, i get a woman..."

Actually there are seven halos and it could happen, but it is highly unlikly
In Halo 2 the elites mention the "moniter" as the oracle like five hundred billion times (exaggration)

What is "backward cappability"? What is HDD? Hard disk drive? I really like the idea of being able to call in air raids,and supplies, because in real combat you could do that. But how will it keep the player from ordering a dozen scorpion tanks? Will there just not be that many available? What is meant by being able to play other characters? Does that mean I can play some AI marine over on the beach or something like that? The Covenant are destroying us because their gods demand it. How can they just put that aside and become our allies? They are realigious finatics. That would be like the terrorists in Iraq allying with the U.S., it just doesn't work that way.
