I Think that the movie of halo i a fake and halo3 will be a video game cause they have lots more of the story to tell.

Well of course it won't be out for a while. But it could be good, the guy who's writing it also did the screenplay for 28 Days Later and the Beach, and I thought 28 days later was pretty good.

What are you talking about why Johnson couldn't be infected?
Master Chief uses the fuel rod cannon, being human he should die. There is no life-form that can stand radioactive exposure. It destroys cells, it may also mutate them but in mutating them they still die. I am not sure if there is a logical explanation behind the fact that we have never seen Hunter flood. Other than that a Hunter is made up of three different organisms, and is only able to walk because of its suit. Notice that a marines armor and an elites armor are always taken off when mutated by the flood. So it would make sense that the Hunters are useless without their suits and that is why we never see them. Also NovusVir, where did you get the thing about the Covenant finding the coordinates of Earth on a rock? Did you make that up?

Seargent Johsnson has Boren's syndrome, which is caused by high yield plasma, like the burst of a plasma grenade. He got it because he captured a crate of plasma grenades and used them, he also got a 1200 rad dose of plasma radiation. (Halo: First Strike, p.243-244)
The fuel rod cannon is different than what the Hunters use, and the armor thing is what i was talking about, they are useless without it.
I'm fairly sure the Covenant found Earth the same way they found Reach, and i just took a shot in the dark with the rock thing. They found a rock on Cote d'Azur, which lead them to the first halo, then a rock on reach that lead them to Earth, and a rock on earth that lead them to the second halo. The ForeRunners put coordinates into these special rocks to guide who found them to the halo rings. But I don't know if this is completely accurate, i have drawn some conclusions. but I am absolutely positive they found the first halo thanks to the rock they found on Cote d'Azur.

the covenent found reach by sending this probe like thing on a human ship. This thing tracked wherever the ship went, and it went back to Reach

Thats right the Covenant did send a probe out. Wasnt it on the Iriquois in command of Captain Keyes? After he prformed the Keyes Loop I think?
