Haloxbox-
Reach was the human military planet where the spartans were trained.
Jr24-
He got off along with 3 other people on a pelican (read Halo: First Strike, by Eric Nylund for more info)
EOD-
It's there, the description is not that good, but it is on the opposite side of the first platform on delta halo. (The first platform after the gondola ride)

Nothing is going on on February ninth. @ Darkreapr, Master Chief did not kill the Prophet of Regret. He fought him but Gravemind saved him. He appears later in the campaign, when Master Chief and Arbiter meet Gravemind. In the gameplay you can only do so much damage to Regret and the all of a sudden he teleports with the gold vertical rings. That is because Gravemind teleported him, and his little floating chair is left behind.

The skulls do all sorts of stuff like removing your HUD, making the characters say different stuff, make aliens explode when u hit them in the head, make blasts bigger. Thats all i can think of right now.
Oh yeah and does any1 no how much halo 2 series 1 warthogs sell for ( in real shops, not second hand or on ebay)

Three points I'd like to insert here
1. do the skulls appear in Halo and Halo 2?
2. if so, do they appear in the xbox versions?
3. I think it would be really cool if they actually built life size fully working versions of the warthogs that you can actually take on the road or race in warthog rallies.

I almost forgot to ask, what can I learn from the books that I don't already know about the game?
Plus how does anybody here contact each other so that I can ask people dumb questions like this without having to feel like a complete dumbass.
(by the way, the only reason I'm not as clued up as everybody else is because I can't currently afford all the info i.e. the books and such)
Another little question
If there are books linking Halo and Halo 2 and prequeling Halo then, is it possible that there will be a book connecting Halo 2 and Halo 3
[we all know that there will be a Halo 3 because without it our lives and indeed the story of Halo would be incomplete]
thanks for reading!

As far as I know, the skulls appear on Halo 2 only.
If you want to read the books, check your local library, mine has them so yours may too.
As for what info you can find in the books, there is alot of stuff they don't tell you in the games, like about the other spartans, and how they found the first halo ring and other details, the books are quite good, and worth reading

there is a VERY small peobability that the next halo will come out on xbox it is already SUPPOSED to be a launch title for the xb2, but then again Fable was supposed to be a launch for xbox. personally it would be great to have a halo prelude game based on Johns chilphood up to Reach to give non-readers some idea to what reach really was and how Keyes and John actually got to where they are now

Read all of what I said. He beat the shit out of him but before he could kill him Gravemind teleported him. If you played the Game you would know this.

Well, that is what I thought too, but then I realized that it was indeed Regret, becuse there is no other prophet that is dead at the time. And I think that the MC did kill him, but gravemind revived him. It looked to me like Regret was integrated into gravemind's tenticle.

I don't think so, because in the the gameplay I jumped onto his little floating chair and started punching him. Then there was all this yellow light and I fell to the ground and his little chair was sitting there on the ground. Without him in it. If Gravemind didn't want him to die then he would have just teleported him before I killed him rather then waiting for him to die, and then reviving him. I think Prophets always look like nasty green slugs that is why the need their little chairs. That is why it looked as if he was integrated into Graveminds tentacle.

I think that little yellow litght on the Prophet is a shield that u punched.
Mayb im wrong, but I dont think Gravemind teleported the Prophet till he was dead.

Why would he do that? what would be the advantage? And the yellow light was all of a sudden even though I had been punching him already. And the Prophets don't have shields.

What do you mean what pourpose would that be. Either wat the Gravemind was gonna have his way he woulda brought him back from the dead because he is Flood and they can bring things back from the dead.
And I think that the Prophets did have shields.

The Flood cannot rejuvenate life as it was. The Flood only brings the organism partially back to life. Like zombies. That is why the Halos do not kill the Flood, they only destroy sentient life. Beings that are conscious and the flood are not. So if Gravemind did wait for the Prophet of Regret to die before teleporting him, Gravemind would only get a dead carcass and if he partially brought him back to life it would not know anything of the life that once inhabited the body it now inhabites. Other than the sake of the argument why are you people bent on the fact that Gravemind waited until the Prophet of Regret died before he teleported him? It makes no sense.

And we really dont know what the Gravemind can do with dead bodies. Keep in mind this isnt your average flood.
What do the halos do with sentient life?
Kill them dead, or vaporise them?
