The first book, The Fall of Reach, is just before the first Halo game, then The Flood, is about the game, then First Strike is between the first and second games.

i cant understand 1 thing? well a couple, first off someone said that cortana said he betrayed us(gravemind) then why would he talk to her and cortana respond? and 1 more thing maybe there are new life forms like the flood that r acually good or sumtin. o ya iv never read any of the books so i dont kno all of everything u kno. and what i acually think if u want my oppinion its i think that cortana is evil, but when arbitar coms saves her she acts like nothing happend and acts innocent again but she really reveals sumthing top secret to gravemind about earth or humans that gets MC in deep shizzle

srry this is a little to late but how can the flood drive human vechiles they wounld need CNI to work vechiles especailly the tank which requires a CNI or a spartan. wat gives with that.

What is a CNI? Darkreaprs theory says that maybe the flood infection can tap into the minds of their hosts and use the information in it.

That is a very good question. A CNI transponder is put into the brains of key UNSC personnel. It is bassically how Cortana goes to the master chief. I think Admiral Hood has one when U r on the first level. When he turns his head u can c a hole or something on his head. And I do believe the flood tap into the minds because in Halo the Flood it goes through the Captain Keyes in that brain flood and it say that the thing was reading all of his perrsonel memories. I dont think that the marines need a CNI transponder to operate the vehicles.

Darkreapr! I just finished playing the level where you kill the Prophet of Regret. Master Chief does kill Regret. You were right. This time when he fell he was in his chair, and with the final punch he let out a moan and went limp. I also watched the level when you see him later, and he is all floodified. His back is in a tentacle and you can see a skull in the tentacle. So that means that he is certainly flood now, or only partial.

yeah feb. 9 is here and i just got HALO 3!!! WRONG! those ppl were liars who said they saw that coming feb 9, but in order to prove that we have to wait till feb 9 2006 wake me up feb 8 lol.

Haloxbox, cut all that crap about the standpoints of all the Halo casts. It takes up enough room for three responses. The races that have left the Covenant will most likely ally to the humans, because they have a common enemy. The Hunters and Grunts are allied to Arbiter and the Spec Ops leader, which are allied to the humans, so all listed above are allied to the humans. And they aren't called roaches they are called drones.

Hey GUYS! I heard on the radio that there is gonna be a Halo movie!!! And a Doom movie for those of the know, but they said it wont be out for quite a while, like a couple of years because Microsoft and Bungie signed to make a 30 days later game. Anyone else heard that?
