Last sunday was my bday and i got the three Halo books and the first one explains so much. Ive already read about half of it. Its awesome. For all those ppl that love Halo and would like to learn a lot more about the halo universe u need to read these books. Im sure the 2nd and 3rd explain everything in as much detail as the first. I just cant set the book down. Im so into it. And if u dont want all three( which u will) u should at least read the first one bc it lays out the whole halo universe for u. Awesome book.

Whats up people Im back!!!
Ive been out for a whiel due to computer problems but the champ is here once again! I know this theory of mine is pretty old but I managed to gather more evidence that halo has to do with time travel. It even says it in the 3rd halo book called halo:first strike. Dr. Halsey explains how the alien artifact found on planet Reach is linked to halo and have to do with bending time and space. I read it around page 248 and apparently she told cortana about the discovery but then erased it from her memory. Im not done with the book yet though Im up to the part where Dr.Halsey takes away kelly on some sort of secret mission.

Yea, thats right, but didnt one of the marines put a grenade to the artifact besause everytime they jumped the ships they were in some sort of a slip/non slipspace bubble.
And Tratarus recovers the rest of the Shards, and bam u have the halo 2 . lol
How long does Cortana live for? Shes a Smart A.I. if I recal from thefall of reach. I thought it was like 7 years, but I think its shortend because of her being in the massive halo database.
For the human vehicles, I want to fly one of those pelicans that fire the missles.

I can answer that for the Mod, it's way to much to look at every thread to make sure were not being morons lol.
Plus it makes it easier to have an actual discusion.

We'll all of us kind of look at the forums an we report to a Nephilim if the post is bad or not.

i thought all of the spartans died in The Fall of Reach what do you mean by Dr. halsey had a secret mission for kelly. All the other spartans died on reach while trying to defend it. But i have only read the first book but i thought all human kind was wiped out on reach.

Yea the prologue of the first book is pretty awesome. And back to T4Spartan and the time travel thing. What it sounds like to me is when the book is talking about bending time and space, it is talking about getting across long distances of space in very lil time. Its like a wormhole. Or like a space wrinkle. Think of it this way. If u have a piece of paper in front of u and run ur finger across it to the other side, it would take less time to get across if u crinkled the paper up so that it is flat, then bumpy, then flat at the end(make it look like a lot of speed bumps really close together in the middle of the paper). That is wat a wormhole is like and that is wat i think the book is talking about.

They thought that all spartans died, but in the First Strike novel, a few remaining survivors are on the portion of Reach the covenant didnt glass, because of the artifact. For those reading the book, thats as far as I go....lol
I cant wait till the next books in the series.

@ jr24 Happy Belated B-day man u shud have told us u had 1 coming up! But what chapter you at? I got the box set not so long ago and im on The Fall of Reach Chapter 26 Section 4: MJOLNIR. Have you read to Cote `d Azur and Sigma Octanus yet?

uh, you guys are luck, i;m still awating a reply from the bookshop. i ordered books number 1 and 3 and they said i have to wait a few weeks before they even know they are geeting them in. the publishers are having a dispute or sumthin.

Thnx haloxbox. Ive gotten to the Sigma Octanus section. Im currently on CH16, right where Captain Keyes comes back into the book. Thats as far as ive gotten. And G4tv is pretty awesome.

Srry guyz but all im gonna say is i told u so, it was a good guess about the time travel. o and halo3 should cum around the ps3 time because of XNA and they dubbled up the employment so i cant wait for the final trilogy.

they aren't going to double there imployment till the end of this year so my guess is sometime in 2007. they still have to wait 8 months before they double there staff. and i thought ps2 was coming out in 2006 so i don't think that they will come out the same time. it will be mid 2007 or real early 2008

R u sayin mid 2007 for Halo 3 bc there is no frikin way it will take them that long. And 2008 is just crazy. And sumdude wat exactly did u tell us? i cant remember. and we have all known that halo 3 will most likely come out with PS3, and PS3 is planned to be out by l8 2006. and with bungie hiring more artists it could be out sooner. It wont take bungie four years to make Halo 3 exspecially when they had already started working on it while they were finishing halo 2. I think the latest it will come out is very early 2007.

Whos to say that they will be making a Halo3? They might hold off on making another Halo 3 to releace a whole new type of game, and create Halo 3 in 2008? these are mearly my opinions.
BTW-If u could work at bungie, would u? I'd like to give tem some ideas, but I'd rather be surprised when I first play the game instead of knowing where every little thin is.

Ijust read that huge paragraph on page oneof this forum by insidebung.
The xbox and ps2 prototypes are awsome. The Hal 3 things are awsome too. The full out invasion of Earth by Covenant and Flood. Different playable characters.
All of this sounds good,but woul it be worth the hundreds of dollars it would be to buy the system? lol
I'd eventually buy it after it went on sale 40 times.lol
