More multiplayer maps are be relesed later this month 2 of them can be downloaded for free and 2 more for $5.99. Then 5 more are going to be relesed later which can be downloaded for $11.99, or you can wait till June and buy an extansion pack for $19.99.Go to xboxlive.com for more info under xboxlive,halo2,news,multiplayer maps.

but you have to admit that would be cool!!
i really want some over and on water combat like boats, pelicans stuff like that. it would be great with the use of the EMP grenade that they may or may not put in. just think, u got 2 banshes flying straight towards u, u pop out 1 of those grenades and bam, they drop like flies into the water. :P

now ive been thinking, y is bungie releasing halo 3 around the same time as PS3? it is no real threat. it wont bring down PS3 sales at all. Bc if ur goin to buy a PS3 and as ur goin to get it u see a halo 3 game, will u really change ur mind and say, "u know wat, im gonna buy X2 and H3." I doubt it. ur either a Halo/xbox fan or a PS fan. And if ur rich ur both.
and about the maps, i heard that ull be able to download all of em free by the end of summer.

Ok im new to this site, but ive got a couple questions, plz answer.
1.In the opening cut scene of Halo2 it show s the covenat city being right next to the old blown up halo, how is this possible, wouldnt the covenat have seen the humans land there in halo 1 and sent more troops? and wouldnt the city have been blown up in the first halos explosion?
2. At the end of Halo 1 it shows johnson fighting with an elite and the halo blowing, up how did he escape? Y didnt they tell us in HAlo2? Does this have somthing to do with the storyline to Halo 3? Is it a key secret to the story of HAlo? It sure seems like it is scince in HAlo 2 bungie made a point to have jonhson say that the answer to my question was "classified" during one of the cut scenes. Plz someone reply.

1.Halo 2 takes place quite a bit after Halo. Im sure the covie just went ova there to check it out after it blew up.
2.Johnson got off in a pelican. I dont know the specific details but that is how he got off. And it isnt some storyline plot thingy. In the third Halo book it explains how he got off. I havent read it yet so again i have no details but i do know he got off on a pelican with other survivors.

Johnson got off halo in a pelican that he, a pilot, an ODST retreived from the Pillar of Autumn. And the last scene you see Johnson in is when they break the lock and release the flood which you see via a helmet cam. Johnson survived the flood because about a year prier Johnson got some large precentage of his body burned by a plasma weapon. After he recovered he formed some sort of skin condition which made him useless or immune (or somthing like that) to the flood. Therefore he was able to escape the flood unharmed and meet up with some buddies and get off Halo before Master Chief blew it to hell. If you want to know more of the story read The First Strike.

No the last time you see johnson is in the fianl cutscene(if your on legendary, hes wreslting over an Assualt rifle with an elite, you see the explosion in the background, and i guess somhow he escapes on a pelican before the explosion kills him

Are these books made by bungie or is it people just making this sh*t up cause it seems like the books tell a different sory than the games
