If a backup stops working on the PS2 can I just recreate the ISO on the PC and reburn? Or will are the problems usually caused by a bad ISO? I thought I posted this question but couldnt find it. Sorry if I double posted.

Try it. The worst that could happen is you waste a DVD R and about an hour of time. I have had some issues where the media would not work in my PS2 but would in my computer, so I reburned and it worked fine.
