OK, I have a v9 PS2 with a Fliptop and SMD's. CD version 3.0 disc, DVD version 2.0 discs. I would like to play my backup of Soul Calibur II, original is totally scratched up. How would I go about doing this if the CD SMD won't work on a version 9 PS2? Can I use DVDLoader instead of CDLoader? Any help appreciated.

yes you can use dvd loader v7all instead of cd loader

just select the beta 3 splinter cell option from the sub menu and it should work fine
