I've just uploaded a couple of my cds onto my xbox. I've heard that you can play your own music during the time your playing games and that it cancels out the music played in games like Madden '05 and NFS Underground 2. How do I get this to work?

its not possible who ever said u can do it lied because only way possible is to mute sound in game and play music from like dvd player

or

just put in the video for xbox and audio for the dvd works all the time

ive done a little research and it seems the rumour got a bit twisted.

I think some games can give the option to play music files from the hard drive whilst playing, but only those games with that setting.

I think some EA games have that setting.

Exactly. I think Amped was one of the first xbox games to have that feature where you could listen to your own music during the game.

You can only play different audio (cd's, mp3's) in certain games if they allow it in their setup.
Otherwise it's SOL and listen to their crap LOL!
