I bought a refurbished Nec 1100a off ebay and now my computer seems to not have enough processing power to get through a whole burn session.

This is evidenced by buffer getting up to 99% and freezing the program.

Any ideas on what could help?

Make sure you have all background programs of like virus scanner if you have one
