then try to put evox from scratch...boot with the boot disc inside...so you can connect to the xbox...then go to D and transfer everything inside a folder in ur pc..rename default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe and tranfer them back to C (xbox),it will replace any existing file with the same name..take out the boot disc nad reboot..

will not let me overwrite the evox.ini file gos back to same setting when i save file

have 20 mins do you every thing is back reinstalled all evo get right ip now in xbox but still carnt connet with pc

one idea, are you using a straight through ethernet cable or a crossover. If you connect your xbox direrctly to your pc and not a router you need a crossover cable, just a thought

thanks for getting in touch thought i lost all hope
ethernet cable is it deffrent to crossover cable as i asked that at my local pc shop they said same rj-45 cable thats what they give me i was using a rj3047 or some thing like to start with i carnt under stand y it doing it as all ip address in pc ok and ip in xbox are ok and all setings the only thing i saw was wrong is the defult ini was not changed to evoxdash.ini so going to try to change will let you know

ok what default.ini and evoxdash.ini...ini is only one file and called evox.ini the other two it should be .xbe and u rename the default.xbe to evoxdash.xbe
try connect through the internet explorer..
type: ftp://xbox:xbox@192.168.0.2 (if u didnt change ur ip)

no i looked in c drive i noticed that the defult.xbe hadnt changed to evoxdash.xbe but ok now i have done that thouth it could of been that y it wasnt connecting but it still dont connect

hey man have u tried this???
ftp://xbox:xbox@192.168.0.2 by using the internet explorer...try it two or three times in a row (without closing internet explorer)..one more thing..when u open now ur xbox console does the balloon appears like before?and are u booting from a disc now or not...u just boot normally and u have all of ur ips..??

tryed 5 time still page carnt be display not booting from disk and yes i get all ips and when i boot up pc and turn xbox i do get the ballon running at 100.0mbps

when u try to connect through the flash what are the messages that tells u at the bottom right window?
one more thing just to see that i 've understood right...when u have boot up with the disc then u can connect to the xbox?cause if that happens double check all the settings to be the same in evox.ini (the one that is in the disc with the one that is in ur c drive)..just right click on the evox.ini which is inside d: then choose View then hit Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C then close it and go to c right click on evox.ini and choose Edit then hit Ctrl+A then Ctrl+V then close it hit yes and afterwards ok...try to reboot and connect..
