sorrie if this is a poor question but why when i have selected a write speed of 1x in dvd decrypter it writes instead at 1.6x? and at the end of the session it reports that write speed is 2x?

all down to media you are using,with a combination of your driver
wouldnt worry about it too much if the work.

its probably the fact that your burner doesnt support write speeds under 2x ( dont worry mine doesnt either but the games work perfecty )

that or the media you are using doesnt support 1x..

try a different media

Your burner can only burn at speeds that your media is capable of burning at.

tried other media, it seems my burner can only support speeds of no lower than 2x.?

Using DVD Decrypter, the other media you've boughten says that it can be burned at 1x?

using DVD Decrypter is unrealiable in the sense that it gives u the option to burn at any speed and not neccessarily the speed your burner can burn at

i have tried with Nero too..
