Hi guys,

I am new to Scenarist. I made a DVD, created still menus with subpictures, added a movie and a few chapters. It runs well in my computer. I can select all option without any problems.
But the problem came when I tried to play it with a standalone dvd player with a 16:9 TV. The locations of my options were all wrong! For example, a black dot is supposed to be exactly on the right side of "Play Movie" option, but it wasn't there, it was higher. Thus I couldn't choose the option at the bottom.
Then I played it with a 4:3 TV, the locations were fine, but still couldn't choose the option at the bottom. (I can choose it on my PC.)
So I went back to scenarist, and I noticed that in the simulation window, when I set the mode to "letter box", I found that the height of my menu is shoter, but my subpicture's height is the same, so that must be the problem, right?
Both my menu picture and subpicture are 720 x 480, how come when I go to "letter box" mode, only size of the menu changed, but the subpicture's size remains the same? Is there any easy way to adjust this?

Thanks a lot.

P.S. I am new to this forum, if I should post this somewhere else, please let me know, I will move my post right away. And sorry for the trouble.

Lilian
