I just got a pc from my brother. He was having display problems(minor he did not know how to readjust his display settings)and decided he wanted new pc....anyway claims that dvd rom worked fine. I keep getting error messages....needs dvd decoder....needs navigator.....reduce resolution...etc....etc....
I don't know a whole lot about computers but am able to fix most problems with directions....Can anyone give me some pointers to start with to try and solve this? I did download mplayer but keep getting a runtime error message so I removed it from computer.

look up 'dvd decoder' in the forum. i had the same prob and turned out i needed to install a dvd player. don't know how mine got messed up, but now it works...
