NOOB QUESTION ABOUT BACKING UP AND PLAYING PS2 GAMES

will i definatly need to get a modchip or swap magic to play games that i make backup copies of..? or will the ps2 recognise them and just play them?

need swapmagic discs or a mod chip.. ps2 have a special sector that it reads on original discs that allows it to be played.. backedup DVDRs or CDRs don't have that since the burner can't do that.

Easy Doesn't void warranty.
Works on all version ps2.

while you can get slide-card/swap magic, i'd suggest getting your ps2 actually chipped. because slide-trick might become more trouble than its worth later on. and with some/alot of chips, you get more features for the extra cash. and best of all, no swapping

Not if you use hd loader , and just use the chip to boot a backed up copy of it.. :D

i dont think thats necassarily true. unless its one of the versions that require a romeo mod, i mean, either way your ps2 is reaing burnt games which strains the laser more than an original, so im assuming that most versions would burn at as fast, swap magic maybe even faster
