I heard that there was a difference between the +/- on DVD and the PS2. Is that true and if so is there a way to tell what system takes what type disks?

no RW. either DVD-R or DVD+R. depends on what version PS2 you have

Generally versions 1-3 some 4 use -r
While ver5 and up read +r Better
(some of my friends have ver 4 and
run +r better too.)
STAY AWAY FROM RW
I have ver 7 and only use +r
(I have 30+ ps2 Backups)
