hi im sry if this has alrdy been posted ive looked for a right answer but none have worked so far so heres my exact prob,
i have recently backed up about ten games all work like a dream but recently ive come accross this game 'teenage mutant ninja turtles' when backing this up it says invalid ps2 disc my method:
ive done exact same method as bin using with my other backups i make image with alcahol 120% then use image burning wizard in alcahol 120 % burning at slowest speed which is 4x with these dvd's they are ritek g05
full face printable dvd-r's, im using swap magic version 3.3 dvd as cd version dont load on my ps2 , the game disc says dvd rom on front and has silver bottem and is 1.75 gigs in size , i load the discs with the slide tool im not entiryly sure what version my ps2 is i think its one of the first versions bought it when first com out as ive read how to figure this out n got to it saying its v3 or lower, think thats all info i can think of,
any sujestions will b much apreiciated!,

try getting another ritek type of dvd.. like ritekgo4.. they work best on ps2's or get better media, like verbatim, tdk, ritekgo4, and fujifilm (<--works best for me!)

ps2's are picky of ritek go5s, and it was probably a bad burn.. but i would go with ritek go4s. they're the best.. unless you need DVD+R.
Good Luck with the help im giving you!

The following list is in preference order. The best discs are near the top of the list. The discs at
the bottom of the list are suitable only for a landfill.
Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:
PVC = Pioneer = (-R)(-RW)
MXLRG01, MXLRG02 = Maxell = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
MCC = Mitsubishi Chemicals = (-R)<--VERBATIM
TDKG02 = TDK Corp = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
TAIYOYUDEN or YUDEN = Taiyo Yuden = (-R)
Decent discs, though not perfect, about 85-95%
success rate:
RICOHJPN = Ritek or Ricoh = (+R)
SONYD04 = Sony = (-R) ... be aware of unbranded fakes
PRODISC = Prodisc Media = (+RW)
INFODISC = Infodisc Media = (+RW)
RITEKG04 = Ritek = (-R)
RITEKG03 = Ritek = (-R)
OPTODISC = Optodisc = (-R)
Quality can be very questionable, about 50-80% success rate:
LEADDATA or LD01 or LD or LEDA = Lead Data = (-R)(-RW)
PRINCO = Princo = (-R)(-RW)
RITEK = Ritek = (-RW)
ONIDTECH = OnidTech = (-R)
Pathetic garbage media, landfill material, about 0-50% success rate:
RITEKG01, RITEKG02 = Ritek = (-R)
PIODATA = Lead Data = (-R) ... often sold as "Pioneer OEM" but that's false
Unbranded PIO = Fake Pioneer = (-R) ... often sold as "Pioneer OEM" but that's false
Unbranded SONY = Fake Sony = (-R)
Unbranded MXL = Fake MXL = (-R)
ACCU = Unknown OEM = (-R)
LONGTEN = Unknown OEM = (-R)
AN31, AN32, ANWELL, AN30 = Unknown OEM = (-R)
OPTODISC = Optodisc = (+R)(+RW)
MATRIX = Unknown OEM = (-R)
CMC = CMC Magnetics = (+R)(-R)
ANYTHING ELSE = Unknown OEM or NEW
Possunt Quia Posse Videntur.
