DVD authoring of VOB files in Ulead - help!

Hi

I'm attempting a dvd authoring for the first time. I have 6 episodes of a 25min sitcom and want to burn the to 2xdvds (3 episodes each) with a menu for selecting episodes but can't manage to do it.

I have Nero Express 2 and Nero 6 Ultra Edition but have given up trying to figure out how to do it as I don't have the plugins.

I am now trying to use Ulead DVD MovieFactory. It recognises the VOB files but seems to automatically break each episode into 3 chapters - which is annoying as when played back there is a seconds silence and a jump between these segments.

Can anyone explain how to put the 3 episodes onto a dvd separately (I don't care about having chapters) and link them to a menu?

From what you say it sounds like you have each episode in a VOB file?

DVD Lab will take VOBs as input and create a menu... add chapter points... etc. Note it doesn't write the DVD, it just creates the VOB files ready for writing. Which you can do with Nero.

TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.5 is another option. If you have finished VOBs and just want to setup menues. I use it to put four 30min progs on to a DVD with just a "Main Menu" where you can select any episode or Play All.
