does SP2 conflict with DVD DECRYPTER OR DVD SHRINK and if so how do I remedy it if SP2 for windows XP is already installed wthout having to reformatt my HD

I am not aware of SP2 affecting these two programs.
I run both these programs and have SP2 and have not noticed any problems.
Just make sure you have the latest updates of them and you should be OK.

what kinds of issues are you having specifically? i certainly don't think you'd have to reformat your drive...seems pretty drastic. i have both progs running w/ xp sp2 for quite some time now and haven't had any problems. and haven't really heard/read about any problems. you might be able to get more help if you provide more specifics on what problems you are encountering.

well I thought I shopuld ask the question because sp2 does conflict dvd xpress and I have been reading you should delete sp2

Wouldn't it be easyier to get rid of DVDexpress rather than SP2?? I say this because you would have to reformat your hard drive to get rid of SP2 as it cannot be uninstalled.
