Hi All

Ok here go the prob

1.(Dvd-r) It read errors and make funny sound

2.(Cd-R) It work but make funny sound

3.(Ps2 games) It read fine but at time it can't read it at all

Yeah so those are my prob .I got a few dvd-r that work only for a few days ,Than it die :( here go some of the name

Memorex Dvd-r 8x
Memorex (the one the blue case)
Genuine Ritek DVD-R 4X 4.7GB

That's about all the dvd-r I try so far ..Anyone know a good dvd-r brand ?

I'm thinking about getting a pre modded ps2 at this point since I can't install anything lol ...Yeah but If I can get some help I will be real Thankful .

(P.S I read alot of the faqs here and it's real useful)

Memorex is bad media.(for ps2 backups anyway)

I use Verbatim They use AZO dye A dark purple dye,
That burns well and read perfect on Ps2.
