Back Up of Halo 2 rsetting internal Clock

Every time I play my back of Halo 2, it reset the XBOX clock, and then my XBOX starts to FRAG. When I turn it on, it keep turning on and off, and then it starts to FRAG. I have flashed it before and after several tries got the system to work with my chip. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, or if someone can provide a solution for it. I have a X2.3 Lite+. Thanks for any help.
