I use shrink dvd to create an iso file. then automatic it goes to the dvd dycrypter and burns it to a dvd. and the problem is in the shrink, it freezes when it's getting info to make the iso file.
Is the disc's you are trying to copy in good condition, no scratches or marks. Try using DVD Decrypter to rip, sometimes this is better than Srink.
I guess you have all background programs off so nothing is conlicting or using the CPU.
sorry, i was gone so i couldn't respond to your reply. but i have tried dvd dycrypter, and still nothing. that's why i came to this forum to see if anybody had copied them and if so, how was it done.
AnyDvd has a 21 day free trial period and then you'll need to purchase it for $39 (I think) and I highly recommend it, awsome proggy, well worth the money.
I am having a problem copying Star Wars episode 4 also. I am using a :
- Dell 8400 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 machine
- 256 meg RAM
- Sony Dual layer DVD burner
The software I am using is DVD Shrink version 3.5.2.0 and I also have Slyfox AnyDVD trial version. The error message is a cyclic redundancy error that occurs when DVD Shrink attempts to read the Star Wars movie. I have done this with numerous other movies without a problem. Any suggestions?
