I have wasted 1 dvd-r (on ratchet & clank 3) 4 dvd+r (1 on ratchet & clank 2, 4 on ratchet and clank 3) the dvds i've been using is Teon. (First time burning backups)

I have used dvd decrypter 4 times to read R&C 3in iso and to write it in iso .

I have tried once making r&c 2 into iso with decrypter and then burning it in nero 6.

I used swap magic dvd 2.0 and do swap. Then I the blue screen and I know that's good. After that screen comes a pure black screen and stays that way even after the disc stops spinning.

I've been able to play borrowed backup games well with swap magic dvd 2.0, and the dvds are cheaper quality (the ones with no brand name with no labels.)

So whats wrong with my ps2. Thanks.

For ratchet and clank you have to use cd loader
(and some other games)

I would also reccomend upgrading to swap magic 3.3 discs
and getting better dvd Media to burn on.

i'm thinking of getting better media for games and leabing those for dvd (movies) backups. so cd loader is a pacth. And if i were to get the new swap magic disc i wouldn't need to patch them?

Its not a patch just an extra swap.
And i have heard some games wont work with 2.0
I cant confirm as i have always had 3.0 or better
(using 3.3 now).

I already found out how it works, there was a link on that same site just that i didn't see. I just have two last questions. Could i add more fixes into 1 cdr or does it need 1 fix in one cd per game? Last question, how do i burn it,i have Nero so do is just open the fix in a new window, copy it to my hardrive then open up Nero and burn it under files? thanks.

I would recommend the DVD version of the loader. I've had nothing but trouble with the CD version. The DVD versions works brilliantly.
