Mercenaries PPF Patch ?

I've seen the thread regarding Mercenaries and the patch by DVDRick.

Would it not be easier and faster, to simply have someone make a PPF patch after applying DVDRick's patch ?

Anyone with a successfully patched version and the original PROTOCOL iso should be able to create a PPF patch that would be significantly faster and require no extra HD space.

This is as much a theory Question as it is a request really, so i'm just wondering. I also don't have anywhere close to 9GB HD free space, since I only have a 20GB HD.

Any information regarding all this or anyone willing to make a PPF patch would be appreicated :)
