Used RecordNOW Max 4.5 with the PxEngineUpdate500 on verbatim DVD+R on my LITEON DVD burner all worked fine. The game boots properly get a blue stripe from Swapmagic get to the menu screen, load my save and it just stays black from there... Tried leaving it on that black screen for almost an hour now... Any one have any Ideas? Oh its the NTSC version.

Ok so I gave that a try... Still does not work... After the CDloader it gives me a Disc read error... Have tried several times following the instructions exactly... Any idea how to fix this?

Ok so I got the DVDLoader instead just because my SM CD takes a few too many trys to get going. It works up until the same point as if I load it without the loader, it freezes on a black screen after loading my save or after entering name setting when starting a new game, are there any setting I should use for the loader not listed on swapmagicfix? or am I missing something else?

What speed did you burn the backup?
Sounds like a bad burn to me
Hard to tell why at this point.

Hmmm 4x.. Thats the slowest I could burn it at.

Need to get some media that will
let you burn at 1x
(try good 4x-(MAX) media.
(most 8x disks will never burn at 1x)
or burn with dvd decrypter you can change the speed as long as the media your using burns at that speed
