Hi, wondering if someone can help? I am running clone DVD with AnyDVD, however after it creates the dvd files and starts writing it stops burning / freezes after 3-10%.
I am running a PIII 1gHz with a Pioneer DVR-108 DVD/CD-R drive. Windows XP.

I've also been experiencing "bad medium" error not long after the burn stops / freezes.

Are you using memorex media? if not what are you using, it sounds like a media issue.

The media is what you are using to copy the movie to, say Verbatim DVD+R as an example.
Some of the cheaper brands can give you the type of errors you are experiencing, so that's whay I asked that question. Also your burn speed should be no greater than 4x, especially if it is burning to inferior media.

OK, well your media is good.
Yes, lower your speed to 4x.
Disable all programs running in the background, including sreensavers, firewalls and virus scanners, the more resources you can give your CPU the better.
Do not use your computer while this process is going.
See how this goes.
