playing dvdr+ on a dvdr- m/c

Does anyone know how i can play a disk that i copied on my dvdr+ machine on a m/c which is probably a - as when i try playing on my daughters m/c it comes up with not loaded?

I have a Philips dvdr which uses the + only disks

you are probably aware that this is a media compatibilty issue,and i am not aware of any means in which to play unsupported media.if you found out a way,let me know
