i just burned spider-man 2 to a dvd and used swap magic to load it with a fliptop. the first two times the game loaded and worked flawlessly. the third time i had to load the disk multiple times to actually get it to work, then it just freezes while i am swinging in the air. what's wrong? i know it's not a media problem as I have used the same media to burn a game before.

Have you tried cleaning the ps2 laser it may need a once over. Also just wondering what media do you use and what speed do you burn at?

Yes, I have tried adjusting/cleaning the laser. Other games on the same media work just not this one. I am using Sony media with id SONY08D1. I chose to burn at 2x but Decrypeter ignores that option and burns at 4x.

the problem of freezing or decrypter ignoring burn speed options? people expect sony media to work on the sony playstation, crap companies.
