That sounds like an error message to me.

We would need a Nero log to help of course.
There should be a complete NeroHistory.log file in C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero

We don't need that entire log, but just the last part of that log which will have information about your last burn failure. Be sure to remove your serial number when you post that part of the log.

Thats a start, but is not a complete log. There should have been a little more at the beginning.

Here is where it starts.

====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======
Name
Location
1A23-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (serial number)

Windows XP 5.1
IA32

Up to what you supplied.

We need that to see your firmware version and if you have DMA enabled.

From what you supplied.
Quote:
Disc Manufacturer: Prodis - cS04
Disc Application Code: 64, Disc Physical Code: 193
Those discs should be OK but you might try some others.
Quote:
KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR
Write error
Burn process failed at 4x (5.520 KB/s)
Make sure DMA is on for all devices.
Make sure you firmware is up to date.
Try different disc's.
Try burning at a slower speed, 2X
