Hi

i am using : Ritec 05 DVD-R
SwapMagic 2.0
Alcohol 120%
DVD Decrypter

To write my backups i put my iso file on the disc and i'm burning it at *4. They burn fine but when i put them in my ps2 it does not read the disc. The swapmagic turns red. Their is nothing wrong with my boot disc. Can any one help me.

thx

Good luck getting games to work when burned at 4x. 1x is really the only way to do it reliably and successfully.

Is your media 8x max? If it is, you might want to try 4x max media, that might let you burn slower.

Don't recommend rw's. They seem to cause trouble.

Your PS2 might only read + discs. What version PS2 do you have?

Well, I don't think the format is your problem, I think anything before V5 reads -R. I have a V4 that only reads -R. Therefore I think it is the writing speed.
