DVD 3.04causing BSOD!?

I previously had 1clickDVD and DVD43free installed and it worked fine. I began having lots of software issues with my Laptop and decied to wipe windows and reinstall. After reinstallation of XP Home, I downloaded ALL updates from Microsoft (as I had before) and reinstalled 1click and reinstalled DVD43 v3.0.4.106 from the official website. The computer now starts up and as soon as DVD43tray begins the computer just restarts. (Have to start in Safemode or do a VERY quick CTRL+ALT+DEL and end the process as it starts) Anyway, I was able to download v1.4 and it seems to not crash my computer. I have not tested a burn yet though. Can anyone tell me why DVD43 is chrashing my computer?
The last time I got the BSOD with the following (And could not find any info on Microsoft knowledge base)

Event viewer has these errors
1) Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000003, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f79d9816.
2)The IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service service entered the stopped state.
3)The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC0000243' while processing the file 'Savrt' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume2'. It has stopped monitoring the volume.
