I have a P4 2.8 Ghz 80 gigbabyte harddrive. My systems running great. Little over 50 gigs left. My system is currently spyware free defragmented, and disk cleaned. Well ok here we go i have a 16x DVD-ROM Drive + 16x DVD+RW/+R w/ dbl layer write drives. When i use dvd shrink to encode (no deep analysis.) it takes 40-50 mins to shrink and burn, and only reaching 6,000 kb/s max. I have DMA enabled, and barely and backround tasks running. Could a firmwire update work and so where will i get it. Is this right or could i make it alot faster'? Btw when i first got it i remeber it was taking 15 mins at most.
