The only movies I've ever had a problem with over the last two years are the new sony releases(RE, LBB, Frgotn). Up until these movies came out on DVD, Shrink and Nero were all I used. Now Decrypter helps me out. I backed FNL two weeks ago in less than 18 min with shrink and nero. I guess this makes me extra special. Yeah, right.

Yes I did have problems with Friday Night Lights! Here is the problem.

-> 1st run it through the dvd decrypter

-> 2nd run DVD Shrink, do not back up with DVD Shrink yet!

-> 3rd go to the unreferenced material and in the top right side of the pane "compression settings" choose still pictures. By default it is set to automatic. There is a encoding error in the movie itself.

-> 4th after this you should be able to burn the movie.

Hope it works!! GL and reply if it was a success

to burn them files you must put them into a iso image.
to do that you must run them in DVD Shrink. Im thinking that all you did was burn the files. You need to put them files that you are seeing into DVD Shrink and run it there. After that you need to burn that iso image into a dvd disc. Thinking that should fix your problem

I'm doubly special -- I put the actual movie-only on one disk and everything else on a second disk.

no disrespect grampaw but the movie sucked. i would've rather backed up a barney christmas then have that movie grace another disc.

Well, I must really be doing something wrong. I've tried all day now...with no luck. Tried replacing the running boy with still....no luck. Just the movie with DVDD..no luck. Got a lovely "uncorrectable error" at 73%....pissed me off. Tried VobBlocker....no guide on how to use. Any "hand holding" help would be greatly appreciated. My wife is getting pissed at me for spending so much time online :). Sony DRU-710A HP 850mhz/xp home

3.5.2.0 Just downloaded it 2 days ago. I've read some stuff about running boy protection on this dvd. I've used DVD Shrink to put still images in the extras that have that protection and I get a "data error" "cyclic redundancy check". I was directed to VOB Blanker...no idea how to use it. There was a link to a guide...that page has been wiped.

you don't put a still image/picture in the extras. You put it in unreferenced material.

It also could be your disc. One last thing you can try is use AnyDVD w/ DVD Shrink.
