People with SP2 have had problems with the demo. If you have the full version you can update it at
http://nero.com/us/nero-up.php

Otherwise, it should work fine.

if you don't have Nero, just use DVD Decrypter (its free).

Just to make sure I have this correct...I can actaully just use the demo of Nero with DVD Shrink...you dont need a full verison on Nero? I mean...getting a full verison is not a problem...type that into ares and it brings up about a million of them. haha

But I can just tell my friends that are interesting in backing up dvd's to just get the demo of Nero and DVD Shrink and they will be set?

If I use this "DVD Decrypter", does that burn it to a dvd? I thought that software only took the files on a dvd and saved it to a dvd...?

Shrink's main purpose is what the name implies. It makes it possible to backup a DVD9(Dual Layer) on a single layer disc. It also works well with Nero. It uses the burning rom without having to open any other programs. As far as Decrypter, you might as well download this program because of the updated ripping capabilities it offers. It can decrypt the new sony releases that shrink can't. If you want to save money, you can also use Decrypter to burn. I suggest you check out this site and read up on these great programs.
