ok this is what i did,and both of my backups work great.
update dvd decrypter 3.5.2.0
load movie in reader.
leave decrypter at the default settings.
click mode,file f
you will then see all your files from the disk.
pick your location,copy to harddrive.
YOU WILL NEED ALOT OF HDD SPACE.
after you save the movie to your hdd you will now need dvd shrink.
run shrink the way you do,after dvd shrink is done open clone dvd.
im running ver 1.3.11.2
goto where it says Write Existing Data
pick your source location and burn.
