Works on Computer DVD player, but not on home DVD player

We used DVD Decrypter to Decrypt 2 of our movies. Then used DVD Shrink to shrink and burn the movies. Both work fine on our computer, but not on our home DVD player. Any ideas?

Hiya, Couple questions for ya!
1) What DVD format are you using? I mean -r or +r dvd`s
I ran into same kinda problem couple weeks ago while I was using -r dvd`s, I found out that my home dvd player wasn`t -r format capable but was only +r able.
So if your using -r dvd try using +r.
2) At what speed are you burning at?

what gatlin says is true...you have to make sure that your home dvd player, can play all formats..dvd-r's..+r's..and +rw's...i bought a emerson at wal-mart for 45 bucks....works like a charm that thing can play a car tire :O))

It also depends on what brand of media you used to burn the movies to.
Some stand alone players only like certain brands of media.
Burn speed is another issue and 4x should be the highest you burn at.
