well done folks thats all i can say,i was getting the same error message that you were all discussing,i got nero with my burner had some success for a while then nothing..downloaded the upgrades got nve3 and was totally baffled,i had'nt a clue what you all meant by uninstalling the incd and nero tool clean but i thought i would just try unchecking the burn at once box (nothing to lose at this point)BINGO worked first time i just hope it was'nt a fluke..thanks again folks...all the best P
