Hi all. I have been having nothing but trouble with ritek g04 media and have decided to try something else.

Before I go ahead though, I want to ask if anyone has used the datawrite grey 8x fujifilm03/prodisc F01 with this drive?

http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/SVP_Communications_Special_Offers_15.html

Scroll down to {DV 3121} Datawrite Fujicode Grey (8x) DVD-R in Tubs of 25. That's the disk i mean. Thanks in advance.

Cheers Gavin.

I have the 710A and have been quite happy with the FUJI 8x. I have burned 100's of them with only a couple of coasters. I would recommend them highly for the 710A.

trouble with dvd burning (in my opinion anyway) is that i can use (so far) any media, and get 100% burn success. only upon watching the burnt movie do i see a problem, if any. so far best success on my 700a, has been verbatim datalife plus 8x dvd-r (mcc020 or similar, so far from india and taiwan)

gavindoc,
I have the Sony DRU710A and have been using the Verbatim 8x+R's. No coasters at all with around 400 burns and the picture quality on play back is excellent. Highly recomend them and they are on sale at supermediastore.com for $35.00 for 100pack spindle.
Code out as (MCC-003)
