Burn without a burner, new to me. When could they ever do that?

In other words, it's physically impossible. The data has to be transferred to the media and the burner is what does it with a recordable DVD disk.

Hi, Although I'm new also so I can understand how frustrating it is..

Brobear is right, your definatley going to have to upgrade to a DVD drive that records also. 'Bout all you can do now is save them onto your hardrive and view them from there.....

later......G

In other words, if you want to burn, the first step is to get a burner. Once installed, come back and get the freeware and trial ware to get started. DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink along with the Nero trial will get you started. http://www.dvdshrink.info is a good link for a virtual guide to walk you through Shrink and decrypter. Nero burns automatically, so to begin, it only needs to be loaded on the PC.

Number one, buy the burner.
Two, get the software.
Three, read the guides.
Four, try it.
Five, then ask some questions if you need to.

Posing hypothetical questions wastes people's time. There are plenty of threads on which software people think is best. For the freeware most agree on Decrypter and Shrink though.

You're welcome, we'll be here to help you when you need it. If a search doesn't show what you need just post a new topic. There's usually a stampede to help (most of the time). Good luck.
