Hi i have the swap magic discs and the slide card and i need to know how to backup any game.Anyway ill start off with twisted metal black.I backed up the game on my computer.I have the iso file.I tried burning and everytime i burn it says not a valid ps2 disc.i really need help getting this right.

Is this a dvd-based game? If it is, use DVD Decrypter to get the .iso file onto your hdd, then use DVD Decrypter to burn it to disc. Make sure to burn at 1x or 2x max.

What media are you using as well? Depending on your ps2 version you may need dvd-r's for v1-3 and either - or +r's for v5+. Version 4's are a toss up for only -r's or both. Also, only use 4x max discs.

yah im using memorex dvd-r i know they suck..But im getting taiyo yuden 8x dvd-r discs.

For ps2 backups, i would recommend 4x max discs over 8x max discs. Occasionally the 8x discs do not let you burn slow enough to get a good backup.

For my v12, i used to buy HP dvd+r 4x max discs and i loved them. But, I noticed some placed have stopped carrying the 4x max now. So, i'll be looking around for another brand to try out.
There are lists somewhere around here that list some pretty good media.
