I tried backin' up the game, but when it got to sector 820080 it stopped sayin' bad sector, i used DVD Decrypter, so i thought maybe they put that in there.

I had a similar problem and found that the disc was dirty. Make sure the disc is clean and free of finger prints or smudges. then try again. I did it with DVD decrytor at 1x with a Memorex DVD+r. Worked on the first try.

no, the disc actually has a bad sector in it. cuz i scanned it with clony xxl its a tool for detectin' copy protections on da game and also for detecting others things such as bad sectors. i used that and it and i got the same result as with DVD Decrypter at sector 820080 and when i put the game in my system it worked to the point where i was suppose to do a tip off, then froze. and i also cleaned the disc to make sure it was good.

All PS2 games have bad sectors. Thats part of the design of the disks. Its part of sony's copyright protection scheme.

well den i guess this one really shows cuz.....i've backed up some of the newest games without a sweat, such as mercenaries, mgs3, starwars battle front etc witout a sweat but this one. and as i said before it wouldnt work in my system, so i guess its a bad disc after all.
