if your a noob like me and your backups are not working read this.i just found this out today.before i was just swapping and doing nuthing.then a couple of hours ago i was reading a forum and it says when u put the backup in your driver then close it.Then get the slide card and put it back in and move it all the way to the right.then move it left.when you move it left it closes the drive so your dvds or cds can work.
the funny thing is im using memorex dvd.THE WORST quality dvd.i hope this helps you

Im using memorex dvd-r.and they work fine.The crappy thing is i just bought some taiyo yuden and i didnt even need them.
