Hello,
I have a harold and kumar dvd that I'm trying to burn by using DVD decrypter and dvd shrink.
After the Decrytpter made the ISO file, I put in the blank DVD to burn it with Shrink. An error message shows up. I have never had problems with other DVDs.
It shows this:
DeviceIoControl (FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!
Device :[2:0:0] Philips DVD842 6H01 (E:)(ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access.
Reason: Unknown (37)

Abort, Retry, or Ignore.

Ummm no you didn't. Shrink doesn't burn.
It has no burning engine at all in the software. It does have the ability to recognize and access 3 different burn programs to do the burn for you...Nero, DVD Decrypter, and Copy to DVD.

The error you got usually indicates that there is packet writing software installed on your computer that won't let anything else access the drive. The two most common being Nero InCD and Roxio drag to disc.
