Traxdata 8x DVD-R work well on LG4040b?

I was searching for Ritek 4x DVD-R disc but it seems that they are not manufactured any longer. Therefore I am thinking of buying some Traxdata 8x DVD-R media. My burner is a LG4040b so I can't only burn at 4x. Has anyone with a LG4040b tried these discs and can confirm that they work well?
