Hi are you guys..I was playing nhl2k5 today and all of a sudden it froze. I attempted restarting it and my PS2 would make a clicking noise, it kept making it then stopped and on the HD loader screen it said a harddrive could not be found. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?? Please help a.s.a.p

try unplugging your HDD, and the network card then reattache it.

did you leave the hd loader disk in when you played?

Yes I did leave the disk in, and Yes I did try reattachhing it and nothing helped.

If you put an original disc in the ps2 will it boot up and play fine?

well it makes the noise right when I start it up. As of the moment I dont have an original ps2 game on me but I will be sure to try it.

yea just like borrow a friends PS2 game and see if you can just play it normally without the use of the hd.

Yeh, so that didn't work, it wont detect a hard drive. I dunno wut the hell is wrong with this thing, the hard drive is only like 4 months old. Do you guys think its the ps2 itself

Yeh, so I just put in nfl2k5 and it does work. SO I dont know what that means exactly, but it took a while for it to work. Can anyone help me out

how do you get your ps2 to show you the contents of the hdd? Are you using a swap method with a copied hd loader? Are you using the mc exploit with a ps1 disc? are you using an original hdloader/hd advance? are you using a mod chip with dev mode?
OR
Do you think that the ps2 should just boot in on its own for some reason.

slickrick you're confusing me.
Does your PS2 work with the original disk?
Does the Hard Drive work and what are you accessing the hd with?
|
